If you plan to visit the Arc de Triomphe, be aware that the last entry to the monument is 45 minutes before closing time. So make sure to plan your visit accordingly.

The elevator to the top of the Arc de Triomphe is reserved for disabled guests, and tourists cannot use it for their convenience. The elevator goes up to the attic and has 50 additional steps to reach the rooftop.

During special occasions, the opening hours of the Arc de Triomphe change. The monument remains closed on 8 May, 14 July, and 11 November.

The Arc de Triomphe can also be closed exceptionally due to official ceremonies or other events. It is always a good idea to check the opening hours before visiting.

Using your preferred mode of payment, a credit or debit card, you can book the tickets, and e-tickets will be sent to your email address immediately.

Once at the entrance, you must show the tickets on your smartphone and enter the monument without waiting in long lines.

Alternatively, you can reserve your tickets and pay later. With this option, you will be automatically charged to your card 72 hours before your ticket date.

However, this can result in longer wait times and the possibility of the tickets being sold out, particularly during peak season.

Ticket validity 

The Arc de Triomphe entry ticket is valid for one day only, and you can arrive at the monument any time between the opening hours (10 am to 11 pm).

Please note that Arc de Triomphe opening hours during the winter months (October to March) are 10 am to 10.30 pm.

Refund policy 

If your plans change, you can cancel your ticket up to 24 hours from arrival for a full refund. 

However, you will only get the refund if you cancel your ticket after this time or show up at the designated time slot.
